Does anyone happen to know about a website that has good information about sex and sexual health for teenagers?

Knowledge about std's, etc. Or would your rather teens go into it blindly so they can end up pregnant? Some of the sites discuss more than just sex but also how sex affects relationship, yourself emotionally, etc. The reason so many teens end up pregnant is because they don't have this knowledge the first time they have sex or know how to protect themselves effectively!

Question: For teens--a question about health classes at your school?
I see a lot of similar questions on here from teens and even pre-teens about nutrition and fitness. Do you wish that your P.E. or health classes at school taught you this information? Do you even have health classes at your school? Why do you think your questions are not being answered in the classroom?
Answer: AH Good question. We have several health class choices; P.E. (includes actually doing physical and reviewing the importants of health) and FACS (which covers life in general and food and consumer science). Now the question comes, why are our questions not answered in the class room.
To be honest we could say anyone can sit down and ask questions the whole time; but the goal of those classes is in general General Health. Not specific to health and fitness based things. We could, but most teachers (in general) aren't that promote health, aren't always the healthiest looking or at all people. Irony at its best eh? The classroom setting is repeatable and you will most likely see the person you ask there. A little embarrising if you don't take their advise that could of worked or it was horrible advise or You take it and it doesn't work at all. The internet skips the embarrasment and does the try as you go method.
I did wish a point in time, but then I thought about, if they taught it in school, most people would only pay attention to pass the test, not to actually know it. I learned fitness on my own time, and worked with my own skills. Fitness needs more dedication that what it gets. Health class is just to inform you and try to get your attention; not to make you a full blown model or athlete or a person who can enjoy life to the fullest. They simple don't get answered or asked because most teachers have limited experience, and even if they have good [experience], they have consquences..
I like to keep health to those who want it....

I had 2 do Summer Reading. Now I have 2 do a Character Chart and a Plot Analysis.
Answer: Absolutely Normal Chaos is a novel for older children and young adults published in 1990 by the Newbery Medal-winning (for Walk Two Moons) Sharon Creech. It is written in journal format and can be classed as a bildungsroman.
Mary Lou Finney is assigned a school project to keep a summer journal, which after initial reservations, she keeps every day dauring the summer. This story runs alongside to her reading of The Odyssey, and her notes on the text intersperse the action of the story, drawing several parallels with the novel.
It chronicles her relationship with her best friend, Beth Ann, a blossoming relationship with Alex Cheevey, and her cousin Carl Ray coming to stay. At first Mary Lou is resentful of Carl Ray, but slowly they develop a friendship as she learns more about his life. Carl Ray, who has spent his whole life on a farm, has come to the city in search of his biological father, who unfortunately has just died. He and his adopted father must rebuild their relationship. Gradually, Mary Lou starts to question her own life and actions and consequently begins to acquire a stronger sense of self.
Mary Lou Finney and her journal also appear in another of Sharon Creech's novels entitled, Walk Two Moons.

Question: Can anyone tell me some really good books because I'm going to the library and clueless on what to read?
I'm willing to read anything but I don't really understand fantasy but if you really liked a fantasy book go ahead and recommend it and I'll search it to see what it is about. I just got done reading a book called Absouletely Normal Chaos by Sharon Creech...it was about a girl who had to keep track of a journal over the summer and it was about her adventures of a cousin coming up and her neighbor dying and best friend drama and finding a boyfriend. I'm looking for something a tad bit different from that. But I love teen books don't get me wrong, I just don't like reading stories in diary format.
Answer: I just read ordinary people which was great, about a boy who tried to commit suicide and it goes through showing how the family tries to cope with it after- takes place in chicago. I'm now starting Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky- seems interesting. Another good book is Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger. It's about a girl who is confused about religion after reading a book and goes back home to sort things out with her genius family. Confederacy of Dunces is hilarious.
