Thank you so much for your post about Barbie and Ken’s little magazine. The article was most interesting. They thought of everything that up-to-date marketing companies think of, but do not always do. Great example of marketing to the user (children). Sort of reminds me of the TV Saturday cartoon commercials. (chuckle)

I just uncovered exclusive fashions Book number 1 and also the Barbie and Ken Teen-Age Fashion Model and Barbie’s Boyfriend little book. The quote says: “You can tell if it is Mattel if it is Swell”. These little magazines are full of barbie exclusive fashions and fashions for Ken, Midge, and Allen. A Must for collectors.

We have a lot of fun with this book, but the stickers are so thin that the princess’s undergarments show through.
