Question: how should i spend my 1 day visit to santa barbara, ca?
its my first time there, so i wanted to know where should i visit, i'm planning to park somewhere nearby the state street, if this is a good idea.

Answer: Santa Barbara is a FANTASTIC place.....Sunday morning walk down Cabrillo st. on the beach great art market. Sushi place in State street 1/2 price sushi can't remember what day of the week but it is near the Starbucks......also the best buy one get one free steak "Whiskey steak" great just ask any restaurant in state st. they will tell you the name of the restaurant, must walk on the pier the last restaurant at the end have great clam shower........Wine tasting many great places also get a hiking book there are some good kicking places......is also a beach at the northern end of cabrillo st. it is really cool to go walking there many kinds of shells, rock and sea stuff.........also if you are a drinker Hannigans have the best stonger drinks in town it is located in State st. in a corner on the right hand side of the st. if you are coming from the beach. ALSO JUST ABOUT EVERY PLACE HAVE A METER AND YOU WILL GET A PARKING TICKET you should look for a parking garage.....many nos then are located in the side streets.......hope you enjoy your time in Santa Barbara it is a great place. Question: I have two vacation days, and am looking for somewhere in So Cal to take my 9 year old daughter. Any ideas?
We live in Southern California, and have a few days to have some fun. I am trying to find something different to do with her...that does NOT involve amusement parks. Am happy to drive anywhere....Santa Barbara, Solvang, San Diego. If anyone has recommendations (city and activities to enjoy while there) it would be MUCH appreciated. I am stumped. Thanks!!
Answer: maybe a zoo??? i hear san diego zoo or the wild animal park in san diego is great. you could also go to a beach (Santa Monica Pier). Another place you can go to is the Aquarium of the Pacific or to a show like Medival Times Dinner Show.
