Question: The taste of bananas?
This is a rather bizarre but completely serious question. It deals with my opinion about the taste of bananas that I've yet to find a single person to agree with me.
They taste like glue! Or more precisely, they taste like glue smells.
Older readers may remember the Airfix model airplanes we used to buy as kids. Well, remember the little tubes of clear glue they used to come with - the real strong smelling stuff? Well, bananas taste like that glue smells.
This is my last hope in finding someone who actually agrees with me.
Answer: Bananas when ripening give off ethylene oxide gas. The way to force -ripen a banana is to enclose it in an atmosphere of ethylene oxide, and this is routinely done in the UK to get green bananas shipped into the country from growing areas in to a condition ripe enough for the shops.
What you can 'taste' is naturally occuring ethylene oxide gas, and a high quantity of vitamins and minerals which occur naturally in bananas.
This is why the banana is such a good indicator of the fact that we largely experience 'taste' through our noses.

Question: Is this setup enough for me?
If I use a Windows PC, along with Office, IE and other things like Adobe Reader, Flash and Real Player, will this setup be enough for the average household?
Or is there something else that I needed?
I am not a kid that likes to play computer games very much.
Answer: even if your not into games , get a pc with separate sound and graphics cards as this takes alot of load off the cpu.
also get one with as much ram as possible ( 2 gig ddr 2 is plenty)
and lastly , get a dual core processor as it really does speed things up when you want the pc to do more things at once ( like listening to music while surfing the net )
