I also loved Rumple....whatever, I was never able to write or say his name, it's too complicated. I liked Rapunzel, Peter Rabbit, Humpty Dumpty (though it might not count as a storybook), The Emperor's New Clothes, and Goldilocks and the Three Little Bears.

Question: What's a fun way to teach cause and effect to students?

I'm teaching a group of 5 2nd graders about cause and effect. I have a story to read called Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge in which a young boy brings items that have special meaning to him to an older woman who has alzheimers and this helps her recall memories from her life. I have also thought of possibly doing the book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. I have an hour to read the book and teach the lesson. I want to do something fun and creative so they really grasp cause and effect.
