Each page is full of pictures of animals. These are real pictures of animals, not drawn. There are:
- giant animals such as giraffe, rhinoceros, panda, hippo, and elephant
- farm animals and farm animal babies
- birds such as vulture, pelican, starling
- creepy crawlies
- noisy animals such as pigs, sheep, cows
- powerful animals such as bears, pumas, bisons and eagles
- swimmers such as sea slugs, seahorses and starfish
- climbers such as koalas, orangutans
- speedy animals such as cheetahs, antelopes, an kangaroos
- armored animals such as tortoises, clams and crayfish
- colorful animals such as goldfish, tomato frogs, dragonflies
- spotty animals such as lizards, dalmatians, spotted skunks
- stripy animals such as tigers, angel fish, turtles
- spiky animals such as lionfish, hawkfish
- nighttime animals such as moths, owls, and foxes
