This is a very old Barbie Magazine booklet published in the 1963. This little paper fashion magazine has Barbie, Ken, Midge, Allan and Skipper on the front cover. It has pictures of the latest clothing and accessories available at that time in this booklet. This book is small, with 36 pages and measures 2.8 x 4 x0.15 inches. This is a catalog booklet with lots of outfits, gift sets, doll houses, little theatres, fashion paks, go-together furniture for Barbie and her friends, Barbie Ge-Tar, fashion shops and so on.

This Barbie Magazine booklet is full of interesting Mattel items not seen in other booklets. There are 6 gift sets pictured plus all the Theater outfits, Travel outfits, New Dream House, Fashion shop, games, pictures of paks and more. It is the most comprehensive reference I've ever seen in this format. It has the 900, 1600, 800 outfits, 1400 Ken outfits and furniture. It even has the "Barbie Ge-tar" and the Fashion Queen Barbie and friends gift set that I've never seen.

I just uncovered exclusive fashions Book number 1 and also the Barbie and Ken Teen-Age Fashion Model and Barbie’s Boyfriend little book. The quote says: “You can tell if it is Mattel if it is Swell”. These little magazines are full of barbie exclusive fashions and fashions for Ken, Midge, and Allen. A Must for collectors.
