Question: In Susan Beth Pfeffer's book "Life As We Knew It"...?
What was the point of Miranda's friend Megan becoming really religious in the story and kind of going crazy about it? I never really understood what that was about or why she was included aside from it just showing how Miranda and her friends were drifting apart. Lol Was their a reason to either the character or her actions?

Answer: I think it was to represent that God couldn't help all those people, even though they were all dying. Eventually Megan starved herself and God couldn't help her.
I think it's just to add emphasis to the hopeless that everyone felt.

I'm a Yankee fan who has had my own perspective on why no one should root for the Red Sox. What's yours?
How about the fact that they are the last franchise in Major League Baseball to intergrate.
Answer: Are you kidding me? I'm a Yankee fan and I love the rivalry between both teams. Baseball wouldn't be the game it is today without the greatest rivalry in sports.
You can dislike some of the personalities on the Red Sox but baseball needs the Red Sox. Boston has a long and rich history with countless great ball players.
As I see it, it's only a game. Some people take this "hatred" thing far to serious. Just imagine what the game would be like if there was no Yankees/Red Sox rivalry.

Question: How much is my guitar worth?
I have a Westone Guitar. It says Thunder1 on the front. I know nothing about guitars. I found it in the house my dad just moved into and figured I would do some research 4 him. It is red-not wood. I do know it's a bass guitar.. well i think. anyways I have pics and the serial number on the back. I do not have a cord for it and one of the strings is broke, but I know strings are not extremely expensive. uhm. . . It has a case with it, but I have no clue if it is the original case. all it says is 'Made in Britain' and the interior is velvety... well no... kinda furry? like i said I have pictures. Don't know what to do w/ it just want some information from now. I can email you pics if you would like.
Answer: I looked up the bass and found people selling it between $100-$200. I don't even think it's in production anymore.

All Doves are similar to a small Pigeon,but are a totally different species.

Answer: In the version that I'm reading now, there are 182 pages, not including the glossary of indian words in the back. There are 186 including the glossary.
For the number of words, I estimated and got 18170. I multiplied the number of lines by the number of words on each line. I might be totally wrong, though.
