I have a choice between getting Tolstoy's "Ana Karenina" or Hawthorne's "The House of Seven Gables."

I can only get one (money issues and distance from a decent library), so I wanted to get some opinions first.

Definitely Tolstoy's "Anna Karenina" it is my favourite book of all time!! The characters are so alive with such believable thoughts and emotions, you can really relate to them. It is a real classic and shouldn't be missed. It is also one of the only books that I could read over and over again and find something new every time.

Whichever book you choose I hope you enjoy it

Question: Did anyone watch the first episode of the new season of Degrassi? What'd you think?

I thought it was pretty good but what happened to Marco, Paige and all them? That sucks that they're no longer in it! At least Emma, Manny, Peter, and Spinner are all in it. And it looks like Liberty is becoming more popular! I don't care for the new theme song. It's like they tried to make it sound "punk" and they failed, horribly! I can't believe Mia! What a hoochie! The new characters look okay. Darcy's little sis needs to lose the catholic schoolgirl outfit and fix herself up! I was surprised actually to see Darcy since she's got the starring role in a huge America show, 90210. This season should be interesting though! I'm definitely going to keep watching even though I'm upset that we lost some of my favorite characters! Your thoughts?

Answer: i kind of liked it. I'm sad that so many of the old characters are gone (Marco, Ellie, Paige, Jimmy) and i wish they would have showed more Emma/Manny in the new episode. I'm glad they finally showed more of Mia. She has been in the show for years and has never got many story lines...

If you noticed tho Darcy isn't in the beginning theme song, I've heard she is going to go off to boarding school later in the season. it sucks because I like Darcy.

And another thing, Danny looks so much cuter, this season. I'm SO glad they got rid of that awful hair!

ok i read this book a couple months ago. its a story set in the holocaust and a girl is the main character. she and har family move in the upper floor of someone house, so they won't get captured. they live with another family (with a son named peter) and try t make it thro(thy even make there own xmas thingg). i know peters family is more worried about there "valuibles" than anythning at first.

i also remeber that they have ppl bringing them food/news about things thats going on. i remeber the girl has an older sis who is engaged.

i believe the name is something like "the children of________land/ave/street"? or maybe nothing or the sort..all i know is its a good book and its NOT NUMBER THE STARS

I've known a man who, I know, had virtually only one wish - to have sex with me. What is disturbing me is his body language. I've read that particular signs, such as locking each other's fingers, touching with heads (not when kissing) etc., usually mean deeper feelings, not only physical attraction.

But...and here's the key thing, when someone's acting it's impossible to keep it up always. Sooner or later, they will slip. Also, there will be other smaller, less obvious behavioral signs of insincerity that will tip you off. If you think he's only interested in sex, watch him with other women when you're not around. Does he flirt with them? Does he pull the same sort of stunts with them?
I've noticed that people's eyes will give them away, you can always tell insincere people by their eyes coz it never changes in correspondence to what they say they are feeling. Never brightens, never dulls, etc. I always watch people's eyes.

Question: Which is the best travel operator to use for a trip to see the Northern Lights in December?

We are thinking of booking a trip (approx 1 week) in December to see the Northern Lights. We have been recommended to go to Tromso in Norway and would like to involve some other activities (Dog Sledding etc). Any recommendations?

I am in the UK and have previously booked with Canterbury Travel on a trip to Finland.They were very good!
This year i have booked with First Choice Travel to do a 4 day trip to Lapland (Kitilla in Yllas Resort)
We will be doing dog sleighing, skidoo's, husky dog farm visit and of course a visit to Santa!!!! Also having general fun in the snow!!! We don;t see it much here in the UK.

Cost about 550 pounds per adult full board. Take a look at their website if interested.
I have been to Finland before and saw the Northern Lights..it was beautiful. Of course you cannot guarantee seeing it...but we were lucky I guess.

Answer: she could play a portable game console, ds or psp?? or what about a portable dvd player? she would have time to watch a good movie and that could pass a good 2hours anyway!! or you could burn a disc with all her fav music and have a good old singing session!!
