Question: NEED HELP!!! TEACHERS OR STUDENTS PLEASE!!!?
I have a social studies quiz on North Africa tommorow. So I was studying and on page 464 of my textbook is where lots of information about the chapter is and where my teacher is taking info from. I open my textbook to find page 454, 487. It skips all the way to 487. Now I have two textbooks, one is for school and one is for home so I dont need to bring it home. My one at school is fine so I thought oh, well the questions will be in my textbook here. And there not. I need help I emailed my teacher but I dunno cuz I dont want to do bad at all and I would study but im missing like the most important part of the chapter in my textbook. Please help. And the textbook is People, Places and Change by Holt. PLEASE HELP ME
Answer: I'm not really sure how anyone will be able to help you here. Even if we had that book, no one is going to be able to scan almost 30 pages and email them to you by tomorrow. We don't even know what the quiz is on exactly, regarding North Africa. Looks like you've got no such luck on this one...

Question: how should i spend my 1 day visit to santa barbara, ca?
its my first time there, so i wanted to know where should i visit, i'm planning to park somewhere nearby the state street, if this is a good idea.

Answer: Santa Barbara is a FANTASTIC place.....Sunday morning walk down Cabrillo st. on the beach great art market. Sushi place in State street 1/2 price sushi can't remember what day of the week but it is near the Starbucks......also the best buy one get one free steak "Whiskey steak" great just ask any restaurant in state st. they will tell you the name of the restaurant, must walk on the pier the last restaurant at the end have great clam shower........Wine tasting many great places also get a hiking book there are some good kicking places......is also a beach at the northern end of cabrillo st. it is really cool to go walking there many kinds of shells, rock and sea stuff.........also if you are a drinker Hannigans have the best stonger drinks in town it is located in State st. in a corner on the right hand side of the st. if you are coming from the beach. ALSO JUST ABOUT EVERY PLACE HAVE A METER AND YOU WILL GET A PARKING TICKET you should look for a parking garage.....many nos then are located in the side streets.......hope you enjoy your time in Santa Barbara it is a great place. Laura

Answer: maybe a zoo??? i hear san diego zoo or the wild animal park in san diego is great. you could also go to a beach (Santa Monica Pier). Another place you can go to is the Aquarium of the Pacific or to a show like Medival Times Dinner Show.

Answer: It seems to me that you could make "seeds per pod" as
the X-axis and "average weight of pods" as the Y-axis.
Then plot the points (3.26, 72) and (1.96, 41) and draw
a straight line through them.

Question: Counting book suggestions?
I am an Early Childhood Education major and my latest math assignment is to hand-make a counting book. It would be for kindergarten - the only requirements are that numbers 0-20 must be used and the number of objects must be displayed on the page. (For example for number 16, 16 objects should be on the page)
Any ideas for my book, or books I could look at to get any ideas? I consider myself somewhat artsy, I am just looking for suggestions on objects I could use to count or some kind of a story line!
(I purposely put this question in toddler & preschooler, my way of thinking- not many counting books are for "grade-schoolers")

etcI think that's probably the best way to go with it. Make sure the number is large and in the corner of the page, and I wouldn't put the "objects" in any type of lines or rows. I think it would look and read better with them scattered across the page.

Question: What do you know about the book Count of Monte Cristo?
I have about 1 week actually 6 days to read this book and it is really long. 117 Chapters and I also hate reading. can you help me understand this book and what is it about?
Answer: This is one of my favorite books. Even though the length may seem intimidating, once you get into it, it starts to go quickly. I remember reading it the summer before I was a senior in high school and I couldn't put it down. It is a novel of mystery, revenge, adventure and love. You MUST read it.
Stop telling yourself that you hate reading. If you tell yourself that, you are psyching yourself out but you are also cheating yourself out of the amazing experience of literature. Perhaps you haven't found the right book yet. The Count of Monte Cristo could be just the one that will change your mind about reading.
