The Happy Little Engine is the story of the Baker family. The family decided to go for a ride in their red car on a fine Sunday. Their red little car was a great little engine that everyone in the family appreciated. However, it was an old car and while the family was on the road, the car had a flat tire. Then the car got overheated and stopped running. But, the family managed to fix it. But, that was not the last of their trouble, the little red engine was now out of gas. The problem was not over. The story of the Noisy Jungle

The book starts off with the cute little lion forgetting how to roar so he asked other animals if they knew and could help him. The monkey was asked first and he tried to get the lion to chatter just like himself so the lion moved on. The snake was not any more helpful and he tried to get the lion to hissss instead of helping him roar. So, the lion moved on again. The parrot was next but he also did not help the lion to roar. Instead, he tied to get him to squawk and then fly. The lion was not impressed or convinced so he moved on. The elephant was the next animal on the lion's path but he too was no help so the lion got smart and asked the reader, i.e. you. And, he finally found how to roar.

This is a cute book that will keep your toddler interested and entertained. They will love the colorful illustration of animals and they will also love pressing them to hear noises.
