Answer: It's about 35 miles to LAX and on Sunday traffic will be light, but give yourself an hour so you don't have to rush when you get there. Take interstate 5 north to the 91 west, (about 20 miles). To the 110-->Los Angeles, (8-10 miles), to Sepulveda Blvd north. Take the ramp onto World Way north toward the departing flights terminal. Have a safe trip.

Question: Team players and Misfits for God were not classified as Superstars...but because of faith?
...they did great things...See Hew ll:31-40...Faith is the mark of God...and when he moves within the heart of any believer he can do great things through them,
When we look into the lives of such biblical characters as Rehab, Gedeon, Barak, Samson , Jepthahae....we clearly see manifested God's glory.
What is the difference between God's judgment of what a saint is and mans' ? Also , can you maybe describe one of these characters and share how they were used ...just wondering...when the misfits are regenerated by the Spirit of God...and persuaded by him...if you think your Godly character can be better established in light of these people!

Answer: You're exactly right! "Faith is the mark of God...and when he moves within the heart of any believer he can do great things through them..."
This should bring comfort to all of us believers...well...at least all the humble ones who know their need for God or are "poor in spirit" as Jesus mentioned.
It's easy to forget that the people listed in the scriptures were just that - people. They were sinners like the rest of us. And God doesn't hide their faults and sins from us lest we begin to think that our faults and sins will prevent us from moving from faith to faith and bringing forth God's kingdom in this world.
Rahab was a prostitute yet God redeemed her and included her in the line that would bring forth His Son. Gideon was a coward. When he finally started to move forward in faith to fulfill his calling, he kept asking God for more signs to confirm that it was God's will. And this AFTER he saw an angel in person!! I mean, who gets to have an angel deliver their calling to them? That happened like a half a dozen times in the Bible! Yet, he asked for another sign and another. God was gracious and patient with him, more patient then many believers are nowadays when it comes to people of little faith!
There was Samson who was another immoral guy. He was the like a hormone raged teenager who just couldn't keep his hands off the women. His testosterone was forever getting him in trouble! Yet God honored his faith and used him, testosterone and all to deliver Israel.
Abraham, our "father of the faith" lied about his wife and left her out to dry yet God promoted him to be the father of many nations. Isaac, Abraham's son, did the same to his wife and then was an incredibly terrible father to Jacob whom God had chosen to carry on the Blessing (covenant). Jacob was a deceiver and had such little faith himself. He was skeptical of God's promise to him in a dream to fulfill the covenant through him; he actually bargined with God over it!
Moses had a temper. Isaiah was a fearful guy. Jeremiah was a cry baby. Jephthah, the son of a hooker, made rash vows that cost his daughter her life...these were all God's "saints."Much of the church today and the world, even some here on Y/A have believed that to be a saint, one must be near perfect, come from "good stock" and almost never sin. Perhaps because they tend to view the saints of old as walking around holy with halos around their heads.
No, faith which is a gift of God, (Eph. 2:8) is for all that will humbly come to Him and let God use them. God raises up the most unlikely of people to be His people! (Some have used this as an excuse to act and be weird / nutty, which is silly and counterproductive, not to mention annoying). But WE are God's saints because He choose us to be! He justified us and He's sanctifying us. All we can really say by faith is, "Thank you Lord!" and "Yes, Lord! Whatever you ask! To hear is to obey!"
It's like Thomas Burton once said, ""A saint is not someone who is good but someone who has experienced the goodness of God."
So before we shrink back like Hebrews 10:38 warns, we need to remember what someone once said, ""It's not great men who change the world but weak men in the hands of a Great God."

Edit: Yes, being around God and Jesus changes you! When His Spirit comes on us and in us, we become who He created us to be. Apart from Him, we are nothing, which is why there is no boasting! It's not about how beautiful we are or strong or dedicated, etc. It's about knowing Him and when we know Him experiencially, we hear His words spoken to us and faith arises just like Romans 10:17 says.

Question: Can someone provide me a step by step way to get volume back on my computer?
My father passed away a few months ago. He promised he would help me fix the volume on the computer, but he never got the chance. Now I'm on my own to fix this computer becuase my mother has no clue. I'm only 16, so please don't make your descriptions incredibly complicated.
i know it's not a speaker problem, apparently audio device on high definition auto bus isn't configured correctly. I have an intel pentium 4 compuer. please help me? I'm desperate this point.
Answer: Not sure if you have a sound card, those would need different drivers then just the standard onboard ones that come from the motherboard. To check this open your start menu from desktop, and right click -My Computer- and open properties. For vista this will bring you to the system panel, same for XP but totally different interfaces.
Vista-
On left hand side of windows click -Device Manager- Accept if it asks you continue or cancel.
XP- System panel highlight tab -Hardware- open device manager via the top link.
*Back to same interface*
Look under Sound, video, game controllers and see if there is a sound card if not exit this window, if there is note the name and google that name followed by driver eg: "Creative SB X-fi driver".
Next if you found the sound card name if there was any your basically completed but if not keep reading.
Now check if you have ANY windows CD that came with the computer, sometimes also the individual speakers will come with a CD too, so check for those. If you have a computer CD that says "Drivers" just pop that in install the AUDIO drivers and restart the computer the sound should now work.
Another type of software which can help you discover what driver you will need is "Drive Detective": http://wwwdriverdetective.com/ Trusted site don't worry. Download and install this and run the scan once its done *note you don't need to register this for it will scan for what drivers you will need and you can just google those and download manually for free. This is just a convenient thing to have for if you need to install drivers frequently.* This will tell you what kind of Audio driver you will need and if its already installed should be listed under AUDIO driver or some variation of sound. If its not there it will give you a name of the type of software that's needed so you just have to google that.Goodluck with this, If you need further assistance just add extra information to the question, I monitor most of the questions.

Question: What is a good fantasy or science fiction book to read?
I'm looking for a good book to read that's preferably science fiction or fantasy but I also like books that are classified as horror as long as they have science fiction or fantasy elements. Currently i'm hooked on anything by Jim Butcher and Simon R. Green (i've read all of their books tho) I've also read the Wheel of Time series, Malazan Book of the Fallen series and the A Song of Ice and Fire series. I've found that I really like the kind of dark feel the Malazan Book of the Fallen series has and would like to find another series with that same kind of dark feel to it(just not as hard to follow)
Answer: I personally recommend the horror/thriller, Blood Prophecy. This book will "impale" your attention and won't let up. By the time you turn that last juicy page, you'll be drenched in sweat and gasping for MORE!
