Question: How do you "white out" a row of cells in Excell such that you can type into them as though they were one row?

Basically, I am looking at your standard Excel grid. I have like one like 10-15 columns that intersect w/ a row. Thus, the row is divided up into 10-15 little cells, no more than one inch in width. I would like to merge and white out all of these such that it is just one long white row that I can type into. Thank you for your help.

Then place your cursor on the vertical line to the right of the column
when the cursor changes to a dark vertical line with two arrow heads pointing left and right
click and drag it to the right
this will expand the size of the rows

How does one make their own little picture things, you know the ones that switch really quickly and usually say something funny. They usually are only about the size of thumbnails, and they change every couple of seconds. How does one make them and personalize them?

okay, four kids, living in a town that a minor league baseball team plays in
one kid's uncle secretly buys it, then dies and passes it on to him.
the same kids best friend's dad played for the team many years ago and was the best player in franchise history, but quit suddenly for some odd reason. Back to the main kid, who takes over as coach for the lowly minor league team, last in their division despite an all star team. the kid fights adversity to get to the team to the top, while his best friends dad is eaten up inside by the real reason he quit baseball. The main kid has always been the starting centerfielder and leadoff man for his baseball team, but now on the ninth grade team loses his job to the new kid.
Through the main plot and many sub plots all four kids learn something about themselves and life, and that attitude and effort in sports is the most important thing.

Question: I need help with a book title?

I remember reading this book in middle school ( i am in college now) and i cant remember the title. If anyone knows the title, that would be great.
The book is about a boy who befriends another kid who is into baseball. They become good friends on and off the baseball field. they grow up together and stay good friends even though one of the kids goes off and gets into sex, drinking and drugs. the book ends when the main charactors best friend is in high school and he gets killed in a drunk driving accident.
I cant remember the title or the author. Im sorry the description is vague, but thats all i can remember. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know thanks.

Question: Does A Great Amount of Sex in a Novel Omit it from Being Considered a Classic?

It appears that today's classics are relatively void of sex. Does this mean that sex cheapens a novel? I am currently writing a novel- which will contain quite a bit of the action- but it is essential to the plot and is not- in my opinion- gratuitous. So, what do I have to watch out for, because I don't want publishers to throw the book in- God forbid- the erotica section- thosands of books with a forgettable stamp on it, with the exception of D.H. Lawrence who masters character studies. I'm not saying my book will be a classic, but I don't it to be automatically considered trash because there is some graphic elements to it; I want it to have a fair shot.

Answer: I would say that if sex is something that is important to your book, then it wouldn't be considered trashy. A lot of times books include a lot of sex just to have a sex scene and for no other (obvious) reason. If you are looking for something to avoid when writing these scenes, my suggestion would be to be vivid in the description, but be careful of the words you choose to use. I wouldn't use any words that could be considered demeaning or insulting to anyone or that are too graphic and distasteful.
